ZAAN ADVANCED: Ablative Armor
An optional advanced rule is to use an ablative armor
system. If your Referee determines you are using this rule, add your Muscles
to-hit bonus to your Muscles damage bonus. Muscles never helps you hit when
using the Ablation rules. Damage dice now explode. The Fingers bonus to-hit for
missile weapons now also applies to melee to-hit rolls.
New tables will be used for armor. These tables reverse
the way armor class works, in that lighter armor will tend to have a lower (and
hence better) AC than heavier armor. However, lighter armor has a poorer
Ablation Value (AV), which is more important. Thus…
