Roland's Blazing Brand

(Alteration)
Range: 1'Components: V,S,M
Duration: InstantaneousCasting Time: 1 round
Area of Effect: 5'x30' coneSaving Throw: Half
Roland's Blazing Brand draws on sources of fire near the caster to sculpt a temporary wizard mark in the air. This will extinguish all the fire sources near the wizard as he casts the spell, within a 10' radius. After the spell is complete, the blazing brand explodes outward in a cone of white-hot fire. Anyone caught within the cone must save vs. spell or suffer half damage. Anything flammable directly in front of the brand and within 10' will also ignite. This includes clothes, wood, etc.

For every candle-sized light source, the spell will deal 1d4+1 points of damage, to a maximum of 10d4+10. A torch counts as 2 candles, and a larger fire counts as 5 candles.

This spell takes a full round to cast, during which time streamers of fire concentrate on the caster.
