The pressure comes both from the traditional social urge (all wizards today were trained by masters) as well as from a semi-parental leaning. Some of these chaps seem pretty antisocial. Are they really worth the risk / inconvenience just to have someone to help out around the tower? Or is there a social pressure to develop your own Tradition like a rabbinic school?
